About

TRAC Operations Ltd specialises in conducting independent scientific research as well as showcasing fundamental scientific principles through engaging practical activities and demonstrations aimed at enhancing educational experiences for students of science.

This commitment not only enriches students' understanding of scientific concepts but also fosters a passion for inquiry and discovery. By providing hands-on experiences, TRAC aims to inspire the next generation of scientists and innovators.

Astronomy

The TRAC astronomy group aims to explore the galaxy one star at a time. With the aid of our powerful telescope, participants are able to observe hundreds of mesmerising cosmic objects and peer millions of years back in time.

Our astrophotography workshop offers anyone with a smartphone the opportunity to capture stunning photos of the night sky and the rugged surface of the Moon in impressive detail.

Chemistry

Our chemistry experiments are designed to offer a visual demonstration of the important chemical properties of matter while exploring how these principles were discovered and developed into the technologies which power the modern world.

Electronics

In our daily lives, we're surrounded by sophisticated electronic devices, yet few of us fully understand the fundamental principles which underpin their operation. TRAC investigations focus on the physical aspects of basic electronic components, with an emphasis on practical applications.

By taking the time to learn about these principles, our aim is not only to enhance our technical literacy but also to gain a greater appreciation of the ingenuity and skill which went into their invention and development.

Our capstone project will involve building a radio transmitter and receiver.
